All designs will download instantly after payment! Design files are downloaded as a zip file. You will need to be able to open the zip file and extract the files you need for your embroidery machine. You will also need the software/hardware to transfer the design to your embroidery machine in order to use this file. The zip file will contain the above machine formats each insides its own folder .
This dress is made to fit an 18″ doll with a chest of about 11.5″ around. This needs tear away stabilizer, 24″ of thin ribbon or cording, and a regular sewing machine with basic beginner sewing skills. The top of the dress is made in the 8×12 hoop with the exception of a 2″ seam sewing the back together and top stitching around the top and bottom. The skirt is made entirely on a regular sewing machine. The entire dress takes about 30-40 minutes to make including cutout, embroidery, and sewing. This is beginner friendly!
Needs-
40”X8” of cotton fabric for the skirt
2 pieces of 13”x4” of cotton fabric for top
2 pieces of 12” long 3/8” wide ribbon or cording or string for halter ties
Tear away stabilizer
8×12 hoop or larger
Regular sewing machine

As for sewing machine stitching, you will need to stitch the back of the halter top together with a 2″ seam, top stitch around the top, sew the 8″ height of the skirt together, stitch a straight line across the top of the skirt to gather the skirt, stitch the skirt to the top and and then top stitch, and hem the bottom of the dress.
